Crazy Quilt

First Quilt
I made my first quilt in the mid 1980's.  I took a Log Cabin Quilt-In-A-Day class and the crib quilt pictured on the right was the result.  I had no knowledge of quilting going into the class, though I did have some basic sewing experience.  My strips were cut with scissors (very crooked) and the blocks all ended up distinctly different sizes.  It went together somehow, despite my  newbie mistakes, and it was fun.  Lots of fun.  I've been making quilts off and on since then, learning from the occasional class, TV, friends and books,  and though I'm certainly not an expert,  I am still definitely having fun.  This website is a partial chronicle of my quilt making journey.
